Right. So I figured I'd show you some of the beauties that I got and maybe a little review here and there. But looking at the photo, having them scattered on the mat weren't really a good idea now, were it not? Well let's just say, we work with what we have. And boy, was that a handful or what? LOL.
So basically when the festive season comes along I have to treat myself to somethings that I'm sure I wasn't going to get under a Christmas Tree. And because the sale was a massive one, I couldn't possibly pass now, could I??
Most of the things I've been wanting for quite some time. Like the ones from Elianto. I was on the hunt for some bright holiday colors and whats best than red and purple? So I got the Midnight Shine lipgloss which is a a nice opaque purple color so you can wear on its own because the colors did show up rather than the usual rectangular tubes that Elianto has. It has shimmers in it also but not too much I would say. Then I got myself the reddest lipliner that I could wear for a matte lip. I was visioning some vampire-ish moments. The last one, which is the duo lipgloss set from Elianto is by far the best out of three that I got because it has two ends of pretty reds that you could wear, depending on whether you want it to be stained on your lips or look like a pimp. Both are suitably beautiful though, and you could wear it all day and there will be no need to reapply as they stay on pretty well. I can't remember their prices but nothing more than RM20 I suppose.
I was hoping to get my hands on Etude House's eyeshadows even before they were on sale but when I got there, I realized that the colors didn't really attract me that much. Most of Korean makeup brands, Elianto excluded has just too much shimmer in it for my liking, I suppose. So I didn't get that. Instead, I got myself some Face Shop ones. And as inexpensive as they may seem, I kid myself into thinking that they are Shu Uemura's =]

I bought thw of the FaceShop eyeshadows, one in a light purple bluish color and one in a light beige for browbone highlight or all over lids. Pigmentation wise- not really that good in swipes but I wish to think differently once I tried it on my eyes. Items retailed at RM19.90 each.
The eyeliners are nothing special really. I was merely swept off my feet from the 2for1 sale they had in Watson's, and I told myself that there isn't any harm in getting another eyeliner when it comes free with another electric blue one that would get rare use by me. Well, thumbs up for the makeup collector :/ But I really like the In2it liquid eyeliner before and have used two of them. I haven't had the matte version but I doubt that it would be really different. I wanted to try the new Silkygirl gel eyeliner but thinking that I haven't had much success with the half-full jar of Maybeline's, I would rather not risk buying it. The In2it pack is RM 19.80.
The two things I got from Bloop De Paris- a pink blusher with a purple undertone and a deep pink lipgloss, are the first two items that I got from that brand. I wasn't really sure that I like it all this time when I swatched them in Shins Stores before but now I honestly like both of them. I particularly like the lipsloss. Some normal pink lipgloss can look a bit tacky and you can end up everywhere for the right one as there are so many- but this one didn't fail me in first try. I also like the packaging, which reminds me of another higher end makeup product that I'm saving to buy--

Perhaps I can also kid myself that the Bloop is a dupe (but I wouldn't go there because I know Dior Addict is much more opaque) Bloop's lipgloss retails at RM19 while the blusher I got for a knock off RM10.
Then I got myself a shading palette. As I have said before, I'm a little bump that Jordana Cosmetics was discontinued in Shins Store because I absolutely love their bronzer. When I see this product from China, I was keen to try it out. It comes in 2 bronzing color, a deep brown and a warm brown. Also it comes with two highlighting color, off white and a slightly yellow one. I haven't tried it one yet but swatches haven't failed. I can tell that this is a great palette. This one retails for RM 29.90, bought it at local makeup artist store.
Thats it then folks. Have a wonderful Christmas xoxoxxx.
