take care of love, it is the only magic left in the world

I was debating whether to write this in English or in Bahasa. But since I guess I wanted to talk more on a product I just got rather than where I went and what I do, I've decided to use English.

I went out yesterday with some friends (and we met an old friend) with the intention of only chilling and lazying around because we're done confining ourselves in college. I've personally made an extra mental note to self to resist the temptation of shopping, no matter how big YES can get. But there we were, even in the middle of the Christmas spirit where you are suppose to be spending on others rather than yourself, I find myself succumbed to a familiar atmosphere- some kind of a Beauty, Spa & Wellness Fair.

This is just the entrance- and all products are from Korea, Taiwan, Japan. You can find CANMAKE Cosmetics in Sasa. But most of the products I haven't heard of but I'm always sold by their cute packaging.

While there, I had to score something, so I got myself some ball blushers.

I've never had anything like it before, though I would like to. I guess I was a bit skeptical since I have dry skin (which has worsen by day..ASSIGNMENTS!) and I though it would never work well. I've certainly avoided any kind of mineral makeups as the last time I tried my skin had terrible break outs. But the girl at the counter there told me that this blusher is a powdery form and would work just fine on my skin. A bit keen, I asked for the one in a natural shade. (Sorry I couldn't give out the name of this one. All I know is that it's called Febble Cosmetic)

See, it's all greek to me.

It has orange, brown and pink blusher where you swirl everything with a brush and then apply it on your face. It comes with a brush, which is a plus. I used it today and the brush was a little bit flimsy and didn't pick up color as much so I had to use my normal angle blush brush. I had to do two swirls to get the color pop on my face, but that truly depends on the individual. You can go as natural as you can if you prefer, and build it up if you want more intense color. It comes of more nude than pink (which explains- it has less pink balls, and I did ask for a natural shade), so that's why I build the colors up.

I wouldn't say that I like it just yet, since I already been using it once. I bought it purely because I have wanted to try ball blushers. But I can see this as coming of more useful to me than the rest of the blushers in my collection. The only downside is that, it will not be convenient for me to carry around on holiday in my bag as it would definitely get crushed (and I fathom it will get crushed into a mineralized form, which is the last thing I want for my skin). So I would use it otherwise, it'll stay on my cupboard until I remember I had it :)

Extra note: It goes well with my fave, Rimmel Airy Fairy lipstick!
