My 11 top favorites for 2010. Supposed I just make them into 10 picks but I had to squeeze my beloved Vaseline. :) And I think, except for Pixy Powder 2 in 1 foundation, I have practically reviewed everything else.
1) Revlon Photoready Foundation.
Now I know I've said that this is one of the best I've ever tried. And even after I've tried a successful amount of other foundations, I would still see this is my favorite go-to, even if other later foundations are better. For everyday use, I like this one. The formula is not too thick, unlike Revlon Colorstay, and it is pretty durable. I understand that the downside is that it gives of a shiny look on the face when you are out under the sun, but I guess being a dry-skin conditioned type of person, I wouldn't mind a slight 'glow' and dewy look. But I guess it's not for the oily skin's cup of tea.
2) Biore Makeup Remover.
Aside from the cute packaging (I love purple, kata Hadzwan), this thing really works well for the price. If I can remember, it's around RM 18-ish. It takes away all of the makeup in one swipe too. Great, great, great :)
3) Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer
I used this alternately with my Clinique one. I would say that this one gives me the moisture that my sad dry skin needed, despite being oil free. What I like about this is that it doesn't absorb as quick as the Clinique. It's like stayed on longer on the face to give it a damp look, which is what I prefer.
4) Vaseline
Y'all know I can't talk enough about this one :) It is really a versatile product in a jar. You can use it as a lipbalm. You can rub it in dry areas of the body. You can rub it on your lashes to make them grow thicker and fuller. You can rub it in to wipe off your eye makeup. So versatile.
5) Maybeline Magnum Mascara.
It's not one of my currently used, but I love it for fuller and volumizing mascara. It does tend to clump a bit but I like the effect of clumpy mascara.
6) Pixy Powder 2-in-1 foundation.
I'm sure (if you're a frequent Guardian/Watson hoarder that I am) that you have seen this one before. It's fairly inexpensive. And what I like about this is that I used it to set my liquid foundation and concealer, eventhough I know it is a foundation itself. But it gives of nice full coverage, and if you use it lightly it won't cake up. I need to get myself a new setting powder (been eyeing Rimmel's) but for now, this one serves that purpose.
7) In2it Eyeliner
I'm positive that by now this is my fifth tube of eyeliner from In2it- I simply love it so much. A friend once told me that In2it made awsome eyeliner and when I try it out, I couldn't seem to part for another brand. It is inexpensive too, which is a plus. I've been using this and only this constantly. I love liquid eyeliner more than gel eyeliner or the cream ones.
8) The Body Shop Lip Scrub
Perfect to take off dark skin cells on the lips.
9)Etude House Magic Pot in number 01
Just my regular wearable red shade. And I love to dip in fingers :)
10) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cream in 230 Fleshtone.
I have two friends who have the similar shades, and this is just amazing. It's a perfect wearable a darker shade of brwonish nude.
11) Rimmel Airy Fairy.
This is by far my favorite lipstick- beats nude ones. I like it for an everyday pink-purpley color look. Amazing.
Thanks for reading. Any recommendations on their favorite products, I would be delighted to go and try out :) xoxoxxx
