Etude House is the brightest beauty store you could ever go into.if you like the color of really bright pink in four walls and ceiling and also doll-looking beauty salesgirls there. i've stopped in here before when i went to Sunway Pyramid a few times, but nothing caught my attention, except that the products have really cute packaging. so yesterday i popped in, and they were having their Summer Sale which marked down to 50% on some items and i found that a lot of them are really worth having a second look.
i got 4 items, as you can see. the yellow tube is called Milk Screw in #1 Lime Milk, which is a color tinted creamy lip balm. at first i thought it was just a normal smackers but when i swatch it on, it actually gives out a little hint of sheer plum color, very creamy and it tastes wonderful (lime, go figure). i don't know where the plum color came from, as it does not look plum at all. but anyways, i'm still excited about it.
then i got a pink lipstick which packaging scores full point to me. and it is small too which strongly reminded me of the Majolica Majorca ones. this one is called the PK004 Mild Pink from the Petit Darling Lips collection, and it comes in two texture which are creamy and glossy. what i have here is the creamy one from the collection. it looks like a bright red on my phone camera but actually it is pink. i haven't worn this one yet but i think i won't be disappointed with it.i am scavenging good quality pink lipsticks recently and have restrained a few, but i am most happy to get this ;)
the two eyeshadows i got mainly because Etude has a whole rack that looks almost ridiculous to miss. okay, so i am exaggerating ;) but the colors are all so beautiful, if you can tell by the pictures. if you can't, i'm terribly sorry. the one that has the lipstick on it is called Pink Bride and the other one is called Latte Brown, both from the Petit Darling Eye collection.
a word or two about me and eyeshadows is this; i don't really like wearing them. i think it is sort of an overdone job when you often wear makeups but want to keep them natural looking. i think just eyeliner and mascara would do. i usually go to my friend Zah for her eyeshadows because she has the good ones ;D last time i bought eyeshadows from Elianto was probably three years ago, during my foundation year and that's just cause they are such bargains i.e their pans, pigment bottles and mousse eyeshadows (these ones i absolutely love). so i don't have a fetish on them up until now. and in this case, these two eyeshadows, they are pigmented for what they are. i supposed not as pigmented as the Elianto pans but they are still good. Pink Bride is a matte finish and Latte Brown has gold sparkles in it which is why i love it so much.
so i guess i'm done for now on these lovelies, except well..

ship this fast to Malaysia,Revlon, will you? :)
