when whispering your name softly has never been this easy

So i guess i watched enough youtube blogs that making me not doing this review would sound insane. I don't know why, but its probably that time of the season where you don't feel like wearing the usual concealer-powder-lipliner-lipstick-lipgloss regime and just want to slap some colors and ready to walk out of the door. Or maybe you are just a beginner in makeup and for a safe choice, you just want to have ONE item that does all the work. Either way, the perfect solution is to get your hand to one of these.

"The Face Shop" Black Label Pot Lip Gloss in #307 Passion Red, "Etude" Magic Tint Balm in #02 and "Etude" Magic Tint Balm in #01

These I called the lip jar/pot, just because it is kept that way. I don't know what they are called specifically. If you go to high end ones like MAC, you can see their selections called Tendertone, which i think isn't the real name but just the names for the MAC ranges. I had the FaceShop one two years ago, and sadly FaceShop doesn't make them anymore because that was their limited collection at that time (I would recommend checking out the new collection from them now, worth it. Pretty packaging and all, and if you already have the eyeshadow trios, I'M JEALOUS ^_^)

The FaceShop one was my absolute favorite at that time to wear, on lazy days where it just takes too much time to think what color on the lips i should wear to match my outfit/makeup. I just dab this baby onto my lips and rolllllll. Then, i got the Etude number #01, partly because I wanted to find a nice dupe for the FaceShop one but it appears less red than the former. I still love it though. Then because i couldn't help myself, I got the number #02. Yes, *surprise surprise*

The Magic Tint Balms are a lot more glossier than the FaceShop one as you can see, they don't pick up colors as good as the FaceShop ones but if you are looking for something that gives color one second and dissapear to gloss your lips throughout the day, these are your go-to items. They go and fit with everything. For example, the FaceShop one does look scary looking color in here but in reality, it is not. It applies naturally-looking on the lips. So at the end of the day, you won't go berserk over having applied the wrong lip color. These doesn't have smells, they are not the same as the Body Shop pots that comes in all fruit colors (i know what you are thinking). These are serious lipstick-lipgloss in a jar.

These days, i forget lipliner-lipstick-lipgloss and just go with the ones that provide me all three of them :)

P/S: I forgot how much the Magic Tint Balms cost, but they are not more than RM20 per jar for sure. Obviously you can't get the FaceShop ones anymore, but that too ranges between that price.
