1) syanaz, my second sister who is now studying in UiTM, out of fear that she'll miss her study time at night, has cut short on her meal times. she now takes a lot of lunch and keeps half for dinner. comel adikku ini. and because i told her that no matter what, the buses in UiTM are always full, she has been walking in the rain to reach Cempaka.
2) abah has just come back from Sungai Petani late after midnight last night, and went for work today. at 6pm today, he'll be heading off to Bangkok for a conference there for 5 days. guess we are content though of being a weekend family.
3) had to precisely explained in details to abah what kind of souvenirs i want from Bangkok. failure would prove fatal, as i very much am confident that i will receive one of the "I <3 Bangkok" shirt.
4) mak bought two tins of Chocolate Nestum for Ari, erm, actually, one for us and one for her :D
5) mak told me that my dearly beloved (family kah die? hehee :) ) that he has gained weight. funny because just 2 months ago she said that he had lost them.
6) now when Ari refused to sleep, i would pretend that i was asleep, snoring loudly until she gave up and rolled to sleep right next to me.
7) when Ari cries, i swear i could hear her say " Abaaaaaah.."
8) when i failed to pretend sleeping, i would have to sing some make-up songs out of Barney's beat.
9) when both fail, i would let her be.

camp rock, bak kata Yaya Hani, bukan Yasmin Hani.
had just come back from an awesome day with dear beloved, and caught up with a flu!*just nice* rolling eyes. it was a tiring day, and it was raining, so no questions of my immunity to that.
anyway, i just had a few coughdrops and feeling rather drowsy now but i got to work on this post because i knew very well that if i let this stale, i'm not going to be able to write shortly.
nevermind, just had an apple. an apple a day keeps the doctor away. tapi doktor kat sini handsome dan baru grad, jadi amat biadap sekali jika saya ignore nya. eh. ehhh. okay, remember dearly beloved.
haa alright, lets talk about the camp shall we. erk, i pass? :D okay, other than that, we all had a helluva of great time together. we spent the free time in the day gossiping, played high-jack, just mixing around. when we mingle around with the chinese friends, it's called mix 'n' match. okaaaaayyy.
let the pictures do the talking, i might as well collapse after this last key..teet!

catching up on gossips. haha, gosip la sangat, baru tinggal 2minggu je pun. the bus was on time, thank God. but my partner isn't :) thee hee deline!

a few friends, zah, emi and i made this background. it wasn't much as we had to steal the time doing it. hahaa, i still marvel at the fact that there is a bit of art inside me. ;)

waiting for our turn to perform on that night. tak salah kot camwhore sebentar.

the whole of us. oh, and we made awesome new friends too. hooray for that.

kawan-kawan saya

old friends remind you of who you were, new friends remind you of who you are going to be.
i don't know who came out with this but whoever genius this is really knows what he's talking about. i believe that time has categorized the "old" and "new" friends, but they all means the same way exactly.
i admit that i have friends, whether a lot or not i don't know. being around my friends, i'm the goofy, happy-go-lucky and corky type. always wanted a laugh. erm..and i am thankful that my friends do still laugh at my stupid jokes sometimes, without punchlines. and also, i do have friends where i do not keep in track for a long time, for example, my old school friends.this i do whatever means i can. if i could meet them, i would. if i couldn't, i would call and apologise or text and apologise. i would not leave it be, i would make sure my reasons are well sent across to. and i would make sure that if there is any pther way i could compensate, i would.but in truth, although i myself find it unsatisfactory, i really have done my level best. that is why i still want to forward this message of apology to my dear friends cuz i don't want anyone to think that i have forgotten them. forgive me if all this while i have given you the wrong impression that i have forgotten about you when actually, i haven't.
i love everyone that i know, whom i call friends. you guys are special to me, beautiful souls.

picsa
okay, since its getting a little quiet around here, i've decided to post a few pictures i took this weekend; visiting my old house, sending Syanaz off, visiting Mak's much anticipated Ariani's store in Section 7 (i prefer Jalan TAR, honestly these prices were like crazy) and much posed pictures in the hotel room with Ari.
oh, and those are the Syria cover-ups that hadzwan disagrees upon :) some of the photos didn't do justice though, cuz zah and ayie have had amounts of compliments for them, so i will continue to like them depending on the situation.

celebrate the L

maybe some times when i would not care for the world
i would have better perceptions
but i know some times would never come
when i sit and watch
such compassion
and in those times i would dream
oh dream that i have half of what they give
but i fail o notice that all this while
right in from of me
you hand me more than i ought to receive
people say certain things are not worth the pain
if only reality, reality will turn all this away
it only takes you to say those words again
and perhaps this time i would stay
i know for some times some things have kept me blind
when preciously it should not be
cuz i know its hard to find
and you are really one of a kind
the only harmony that matches my heartbeat.
*for all you lovebirds out there, go celebrate love :)

of ol' memories and way
i'm actually in my hotel room in Shah Alam (thankfully its not Concorde anymore) in Intekma Resort and Convention Centre, UiTM and despite the old facilities that somehow i guess, has wondered me on the many visits i spent here during my childhood, i am quite marvelled by the fact that it has, good graciously, a working internet connection. i say 'working' because it's still very low at the moment, but i wouldn't push my luck :)
so anyways, the trip to Shah Alam was quite eventful, not to mention it brings about a number of memoriabilia (is that how u spell it, i know it isn't!) to it. abah brought me back down the roads to my early primary school, much- brief secondary school, two of our old houses in Bukit Kemuning and Section 18, the earlier already in the racket and in the process of clearing up, and also, last but not least, my not-to-be-traded UiTM moments.ohh. the feelings of it after more than two years, it made me a kid! it made me buzz like a bee lalalalaa dunno how to continue...hehe, i got so excited, "Ari, kalau nak tau dulu, sini la Along blaja, duduk kat asrama nie la. dulu masa Along sekolah menengah, selalu naik Bas Mini warna pink tuu..sekarang dah takde. dulu, ade Kompleks PKNS je..Alam Sentral tu pun baru bukak masa Along sekolah. Sacc Mall xde langsung lagi. dulu takde uptown Shah Alam ni, xde Lebuhraya Kemuning-Shah Alam ni!,"
we sent Syanaz off. as hadr it is to believe, and i've said this 100th time, my dear sister is likely to follow in my footsteps.i say likely, because you can never know when you are in your foundation year. so i hope, above all hopes, that she can survived. and i'm crossing my fingers for it. i have no fear that she can't attain the necessary requirements, just doubts on whether she has the attitude for it. being sturdy, firm, hard as a rock and not a care for what people might think.
ohh well, she's just starting then. now back to me. i'm going to go back to KL tomorrow (sob..sob.. Shah Alam!) and back to UM for my camping subjects. like deline goes, pfft! haha. i'm afraid i'm not that excited yet. but i know i will be. what with all the friends there, it'll be quite challenging to not feel the air of excitement.
oh yes, i do have a situation here. i've MMS-ed some photos of me to hadzwan, wearing my new syria style cover-ups. apparently, the love of my life thought that it was much too matured for his likings. perhaps, he suggested that i should revert back to my ways of styling the ol' "Tudung Bawal". not that i don't like the idea, i simply am afraid that i have forgotten the techniques. *sigh* shawls for me work like wonders. they are no fuss at all, and are more up-to-date. but i know that hadzwan is definitely a keeper, so i promised him that one day , i would wear what he likes to see. ;)

say a little prayer

they say that, being a lawyer, you have one foot placed nicely in Hell.
i probably have said this way too much already, but it is everything but my original ambition to end up taking this course. and i know one lawyer who told me that, being asked to do something that you never have intent to in the first place leaves a lot of desires open. i have not many desires myself, but i do have one. that is the desire to always wanna know why in the world did i decide to do this?
i know its pretty amazing that i let this get far off 2 years now. plus, i have friends who, after they've complete with the course, wanna take up some other courses that interest them more. and if i ever have one myself, i would not have blamed them.
okay, the point of all these ramblings is because i just got my criminal law result out today. i was freaking out when somebody mentioned it in Facebook. it was horrifying, gut-wrenching more like. okay, enough adjectives already! well, as usual, i announced this to deline and i had to be surprised (surely not) that she already knew my result.
"did i fail? thats all i wanna know,"
after a few miserable seconds...
"TAK! hehe =),"
and just right then, that was...it was....all of it was...unbelievable. i had been so confident that i would flunked this paper. putting aside of how much i really do struggle to understand the subject, i did very badly during the final exam. i actually made some careless mistakes in the compulsory question. as careless as, if it was a real case in court, the judge would've just throw the bundle right into my face! so it was a mega relief that i did passed.
and not badly too :) thank you ALLAH. perhaps this is another of the too many chances you give so i would survive this road. its just another cue to ask me to buckle up, cuz we're not done yet.
my friends, as far as i know, have passed wonderfully, and have better results than i do as well. congrats my sayangness, =)everyone deserves a piece of this.
again, thank you ALLAH. i never knew such hurdles would make me stronger and confident day by day. thank You for still rewarding me, though i know i'm not as devoted.and through the day, please don't stop guiding this humbly, lowly and filthy slave of Yours..

of yeay and nay

drum rolls. and prefered background music "Empire State of Mind" playing, please.
hehe, sorry for being dramatic. but i just got to know that i passed wonderfully for my elective subject that i took last semester, "Analisis Busana dan Tatarias". my first A ever in the uni, that and two other A- from my first year subjects. hell yeah i love the subject!! it's not that hard (it's not hard at all, being an elective subject) and u gotta do all kinds of amazing stuffs. like, my assignment was about a research on chinese opera where we get to go to KLPAC for it. then we had this fashion show thing which we were all excited about and paid much particular too, not to mention the money. but if the end result is what it's cost, then its worth it. so juniors, make sure u give yourselves enough consideration to take this subject next semester. =)
hmm while posting this, Ari actually got a bit grumpy so i had this idea of web-cam us together. she got all excited and started pressing the mouse to snap our pics then laugh herself silly. abah is home for the weekend, so she's getting extra spoiled too.
oh and em, i just got to know from deline that my KO-K subject is scheduled on this 26th, which is this coming Wednesday. so since we'll be sending Syanaz off to UiTM, i would just stay a couple more days till Wednesday in UM. so guess i couldn't be online much then (maybe). now my greatest fear is that i won't have any friends to hang out with to kill time, and i've been bugging emi and deline to stay over. last time i stayed in my old deserted room with just my Twilight series, didn't quite make it. so yeah, i need company if not i'll go crazy. so emi and deline, if u guys are reading this, which i bet u will (haha), we have a situation here.

The Library (yeah, the bar)
as i have told on previous post, i have not spared myself extra moolahs to pay for story books. so Borders give me the sniffs these days. and as been told, i have to make do with the library that abah had access to at UiTM. hehee, syanaz and me do this to him all the time, we beg money for books but are to lazy to hit the library ourselves. he said he is just too embarrassed to ask for story books anymore, him being a professor there. but i guess it's okay, it's inexpensive for one. and library gets so underrated these days while the books are racking the price. i remembered one time when me, myra and deline went to the main library to look up some materials when we came across this whole section of just light readings and we were all hyped about that. seriously, the campus made us pay unnecessary fees for the library, so we might as well want to take some leaves out of the good books there.
well, enough rambling already. these are the books to keep me company for, err, the rest of the holiday?
sorry, at first wanted to review the books separately, but the internet connection is getting all darn slooooooooooooow by the hour (wonders why) and i'm sorry for the awkward one-by-one books' photos. i know its better to snap them all together but again, the main intention and the internet connection, u know why.

jay-vee-ell

two things to state now; FIRST is that i'm watching Ghost Whisperer and can't stop gawking at Jen's dress. so cute. SECOND the reason why i posted the pic is because i wish i was half as jovial. think about that.
okay, i admit, as much as i'm having fun at doing absolutely nothing i.e reading story books, watching countless movies on telly, looking after Ari, cleaning up the house now and then, and doing various errands and sometimes hang out myself, everything else seems not as blog-worthy. hmm, and i'm doing really freaky stuffs lately, like, out of hyped, i gave myself a full makeover complete with the falsies just to go out and do the laundry. LOL.
and one of my very sweet friend, Emi, has asked me to please ramble about her in my blog, probably due to the lack of posts. sorry honey, but i wouldn't even consider that. =)
makeup-wise, i haven't hit any stores yet cuz i rather wait till i'm in KL under the stern eyes of my freinds. "NO, big NO. don't buy that. don't even think of it," period. just like that. and cuz i always do good by listening to my friends, i know i'm not losing anything by NOT buying the much prohibited beauties until i'm really sure.
oh, the Ghost Whisperer just hit the plot. gotta go!

-sunday sundae-
i have had an amazing Sunday, yesterday. we followed the plan, and all five of us headed to Taiping to shop for Syanaz's stuff. she's going next Sunday, and as much as i hate to admit, i'm already missing her. because in this house, i was always the one who used to move away. i went to three different schools, always prefer to stay at the hostels and quickly went for the college world. but heck, i'll cope. and furthermore, now i have a reason to go visit Shah Alam again. hehe, yes, my sister is going to study law. just like me. a game for competitions? i would hope not, bless this course for spreading out a variety of job scope in silver dishes.needless,i am proud that my shy sister, is breaking up the ice and doing the impossible (at least for her, and trust me, i know) which is LAW.
okay back to the Sunday. we went to Taiping Sentral, and i'm so excited because this is Ari's second baby's day out. i'd say, she handled it pretty amazingly.compared to the first time in QB Mall, yesterday was a record. she smiled at people, but she wouldn't be held by strangers, i mean, shop assistants as she's not familiar with strangers. she giggles loudly, sometimes its embarrassing. =) when we were at tesco, and she was getting grumpy by the hour, she wailed loudly and for so long that rung through the cashier place. pretty amazing, huh?
then we went to Acik's, and off to Nenek's. main reason because people had to see Ari. huh, Ari, its all about you now! =) we had a blast at both houses, i left with a bloated stomach. okay, not quite literally.
i want to say, during my trip to Taiping yesterday, i've been eyeing lots of shawls and came back home with two cotton ones. i forgot the last time i shopped for head covers. and wani bought this Ariani style of tudung which is not so bad when i tried it on. but hadzwan would never let me wear those, he says they're hideous. beli kat saya satu tengok cantik ke tak wak!
tomorrow, Ari is going to turn 6 months! she's going to be vaccinated soon too, she's a happy 7pounds now. i love her, can't say enough. tonight i was watching the Oprah Show and she did about parents-children reuniting and stuffs, and it really bugged me. i don't know where the how i am going to cope if i lost Ari. we've been avoiding the "what-if" nowadays, but i know some things can happen. God knows how that feels. so don't. not even close, please.

2nd season
been going thru photos of me during 2nd year. can't tell how much this year means to me. i thought of posting some quotes from the net but i guess i sounded cheesy enough. so here are among the few moments that made my year, in random orders.

the class of second years.

me during dinner. i guess i have blogged about this though, but just to share the picture again, cuz its taken in a much frustrated nice angle =)

the much obssessed manager who arrived at the Futsal field with dresses and long cardigans. not much of a sports fan myself, no.

during the fashion show for our elective course, with myra and myself as the designers and emilia, our modest model. it was a long night, but worth the marks we get, gratefully.

celebrating myra's bday at Waroeng Ayam Penyet , The Curve. she lovessss it so much, she cried! and better yet, this is the one birthday cake i can't eat, LOL.

listening to Daus, Azzairi and Shahrul's speeches, and it was aired on Astro Awani. pity i missed seeing it on telly.

our pic taken at the end of the year 2009. the numbers were changed a day after, so its tradition to "immobilize" ourselves in the remaining moments, just to mark our years spent prior graduating.

me and emi at OU. syak took the picture. i remembered being really hungry at that time and we spotted this cute authentic nyonya restaurant that we decided to try out. it was BOMB, should go there more often.

me and my friends after Teater Mahsuri during Malam Warisan Melayu. that was loads of fun!

this photo was taken at Fakulti Alam Bina, where we awed the architecture. hehee =D this was during the Election Fever when we help pass around Shahrul's manifestos around campus.

Moots. this is a compulsory practical course for us law students during the second year. it's tiring and a lot of hardwork but will get a hang of it. i was one of the appellant's counsel for Chargos Islanders, claiming some kind of compensation from the respondents, the British Government.

okay, i didn't have much to say now actually, cuz i've only been staying at home and surprisingly, i'm not complaining a bit. partly because i have gone gaa-gaa in KL and need a break. i don't mind slouching the coach, watching even the 80s shows, binge on chips, at the same time doing chores tee hee~ and i have Ari and my sisters to keep me entertain. mak and abah whom i always tend to disagree on every now and then, hehe. facebook is entertaining too, so is the blogger world. i never fail to feel awed by the suddenly-found blogs every now and then. its like reading a new book everyday, yeah, because i don't have a happy, thick book to keep me company, so i have to make do of whats available.
speaking of family quality time, today was nothing but running major errands for my family. mak needed some stuffs that only sell in some weird shopping area nearby, syanaz needed to have her medical checkup at the hospital, wani needed to take her license, ari needed new diapers. so i was all around Parit Buntar till evening, then, we we're ready to go home, my sisters miraculously manage to persuade me to stop by a Pasar Malam, so i had to spend another 30 minutes just to locate a parking spot then walk around in the hot. it was blazing, and was no fun a place to be in. but they know the BIG SISTER would listen. BIG SISTER is scared stiff if they report to mom. yeah, i'm the silliest victim, a shame to the firstborns association.
but let me tell you this, being the one dependent can give you, some sense of hope that you are worth as someone. it gives you the sense of importance. especially with my cute little angel, Ari, who i can't get enough of. let me tell you this; it is so worth getting up at 3am just to feed her milk, or to sooth her when she has nightmares (cuz sometimes she cries, laughs and even scream in her sleep, so i have to be there). she is just so adorable. only 5 months in this world but already she rules mine in her way, and that is saying something.
tomorrow, hopefully, i can go to Taiping to catch a movie. its been a while, really. and i need serious movie boost.makeups and new clothes only go a long way *sigh*.

friends.second year and counting.
okay, just got back from a short trip to UM to register for my short semester co curricular activity, which i need for my grad marks. and i'm missing my friends already, it aches just to think of it. today when we met, we hung out at Pelita Bangsar and just talked old times. we laughed till there was no more point of laughing, we're exhausted.the class previously was promising, i'm sure i'll like it a lot. other than that, i'm free free free for this holiday. =D
it makes a change really to be at home, since 2nd year has ended and miraculously, i survived it. i dunno about my other two coming years, but from what i heard, the 2nd year was suppose to be the tough, and i'm proud of myself, if not too much, for having live through it. okay, i did whine here and there in the blog about moots, criminal law paper and etcetra..but seriously, as long as i didn't quit the course, i'm happy enough.
we ate out a lot at Harun, which i loved so much. syark said that it is the only place where i'm able to finish up all my food, i even forbid him to finish them for me. what a turn around. and after the last law paper, we did some scoofing stuffs at Uptown Damansara, and i did get myself a lil' something to kept me by this holiday in Penang since i;m not sure when i'll be able to hit the island. well, that explains why i didn't have money left for storybooks i'm planning to buy and had to ask Abah for alternatives at UiTM's library.
GOD, i miss my friends so much. but that's about it. absence makes the heart grows fonder. so let absence rule. =D
i wonder what next year have in stock for me?
p/s: congratulations for my beloved senior, Raihana Halmi, for the job at the firm. love u sis!know u'll do best!

-quickie update-

went to Ikano Power Centre yesterday with zah, deline and chot. had chot to snap a photo of me, mind the vain though =D
so we went there, because zah and chot wanted to get their hands on some crazy slash-and-slash of the crocs that were on warehouse sale. me and deline tagged along, simply cuz we hardly ever been to Ikano. our venture of that area only extended to The Curve Flea Market, Waroeng Ayam Penyet (nastily tasty!) and movies at Cineleisure. so we were a bit on the "wooo woo" when we were there.
the warehouse sale was massive!! way over the Ninewest warehouse sale long ago. not to mention this was premeditated even before we enter Ikano itself, the traffic was like you could never believed! then there's the LINE. and all for the love of crocs *sigh*. if i were a crocs lover myself, then i could've known. this wasn't my hound.me and deline only got around all the crocs in one go, not getting any nearer to any cuz we ended up getting pushed away by other crocs's hoarders. we went and sat at this little food joint that served mouth watering buritos i have yet tasted.
then we went to The Curve Flea Market and i got myself a little something. *wink wink*. and we bumped into Syarifah Amani, who looked so plain and simple with an oversized jersey and shorts and those pair of Roxy wedges that people used to wear. hurmm. and to think that malaysian artists got all dolled Kim Kardashian style, i was quite impressed. even Lisa Surihani was plain simple outside.
what else?
oh yes, my younger sister, syanaz is going to pursue law =))) she's gonna take the UiTM Pre-Law, as opposed to me who took the KPTM Foundation for law. so she's gonna continue her degree in UiTM. guess we're gonna have our very own Boston Legal type of family very soon =) and, my youngest sister, Ari is already in her walker!! i swear i can hear her wish-woshing around while i was on the phone with abah just now. oh my, she'll be so cute!! i can't wait to see her, but not till i am finished with my short semester i'm planning to take for my KO-K marks. hehe.
ish, ape lagi nak cerita nie?
owh, i have finally watched Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen on deline's dvd last night. yep, lame..=) i was all but a little too late to admire Optimus Prime. and i love all Disney artists, so i have a soft spot for Shia LeBeof. nope, not Megan Fox though. hehe.
okay, i guess that concludes my weekend. now i'm gonna find cases to read on admin law. wish me luck for my last paper! love u mwahhxx!
