my baby Jans

January is nearing the end and it seems almost rude to ignore this month without blogging about my two FAVORITE beauty product. It's kind of different as it's not makeup related, only to do with skin and body care, but I must tell you this, I have never before been more excited about my favorites than the ones I have for this month.

Milk that is good for the skin. Eh, no. This is no milk carton, but a milkshake cleanser in its absolutely cutest form. This is from the Oslee brand, Oslee Peeling Milkshake Cleanser, another Asian type product that like their many others, put 100% effort on the packaging. I was up the Guardian aisle wanting to buy the Sukin product, an Australian brand to try out since I ran out of my Himalaya cleanser (I'm not a fan of this cleanser btw. It doesn't lather easily and it runs out fast) but then this pink bottle caught my attention.

What did I tell ya? Ain't it a beauty?

It's a peeling type of cleanser, which I'm not sure about but after a week of use, I have to say that it is not abrasive at all. Peeling type of cleanser supposed to be good for your pores as it cleans out the dirt, as the case may be if you favour peeling type of masks. And eventhough peeling suggests that some layer of your skin will be removed and all, this doesn't quite feel like the case here as though dry skin I have, I still feels like it gives out moisture as well. It's a creamy white consistency with some gentle pink exfoliator inside, called the Rosehip Peeling Seeds. It doesn't lather into a foam either but I have to say it's better than the Himalaya one.

This one was quite on the pricey side, with it being around RM50+. But so far, so good for the cleanser. And it's quite packaging, who can resist? I may go and get the other products from this line too if I'm interested.

Next is my absolute fave, the Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow

I know that my skin need constant moisture, but even then I have been very reluctant to spend on body lotion. Even my Garnier one for dry skin is still half the bottle. But when I say the new lotion line from the Vaseline ad, I knew I had to have this particular one; the cocoa flavor. I'm not a fan of flowery scents, thus I don't like heavy scented perfumes. My type of good smell choice has been musk, vanilla, cocoa and coconut. I know, weird right. But it was a dream come true when I saw this from Vaseline. Even then I had a very strong reason (more like and excuse) to buy it.

I scrouged Watsons and Guardians for this particular lotion, but all was almost gone except for the usual oat and aloe vera one, I think. You could say that this one up here is a hot commodity of it's own. But pick it up I did, after three Watsons trip I guess. And boy did I apply it every few hours. Mak said that it smells exactly like her cooking chocolate. Exactly, I thought.
