the ones in the black font are the core subjects, like it or not i have to take it and endure it :) OMG, since when have i talk about hating law? of course i love every bit of the course.word by words.
the ones in the blue font are the elective subjects.but they are the ones i have reserved for a while, coming only when the reds have been fully booked.and by the looks of it, i think they might as well be fully booked.Commercial Transaction and Intellectual Property are both 'hot' subjects in the faculty, and looks like the legal fraternity is selling tickets for those two, so as much as i like to take the subjects, i think they will have to wait for when i'm in third year. i think i'm doing for the best, in my third year, i would be learning about business and company and corporates law..those kind of stuffs that pretty match up with the two subjects.
the ones in the red font (lame i know, i just strongly consider two elective subjects *wink wink*) are the ones i would like to take up for the next coming year.if you read closely my scedule up there, you would see that it'll be kinda stuffy but i think i can manage.the brightside of the International Humanitarian Law is that, the subject is fun and interesting, the lecturer is patient and gives a lot of notes so that helps and plus, i get credits if i ever wanted to join the NGOs (MERCY, WTO and UN all come to mind) its a pinch start really after seeing Gary having so much fun working for the UN in Thailand.the downside is, i have to wake up really early in the morning for the lectures, the subject is quite tough and since i'm sure everyone harbour the same craze about the subjects, i don't think its still that available. Islamic Criminal Law, on the other hand is considered as a soft option for the faculty, one you can really ace in.but i doubt it will be that simple, giving how the exams always give heart failures.i want to take up this subject basically for its knowledge.i have so many questions on the Islamic law and the Syariah Court in Malaysia, Article 121 (1A) and all that stuffs since i've started in the law school. i hope my questions will be answered, and whats more, i don't think they are many students keen to take up this subject but yet, the umisis can be a bit tricky on that.
next option if my reds have all been booked?i'll go for anything that is still available on the list.really.frankly speaking, all the elective subjects are equally interesting, appealing and on the hot shelves. so, i wouldn't miss a thing if i couldn't manage to grab hold of my preferences, i'll be glad to lay my hands on any subjects.all that matters is i can coop with them. :)
my dad? he advised me to take up subjects that my friends are taking.hehee some advice kan?so that i can have friends :)) when i showed him my list, he went.."Ya Allah, banyak nya subjek.semuanya law.Human Resource xde ke?" hehee since when pulak lah saye nie blaja music ke, masak2 ke..just law la :)
