the water runs deep, not the conversation.

Mate Berry Elianto Lipstick in 03, Fair & Lovely Anti Marks Skin Brightening Cream, Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer, Neutrogena Fine Fairness Toner, Etude House Eyeshadow (don't know the name, but it was one of the few matte colours in a semi-light shade. think they only have four matte eyeshadows), Elianto Brow Pencil in Dark Brown, Elianto Vibrant Shadow in Ivory Black, Elianto Vibrant Shadow in Irish Coffee.

I went for a shopping trip few weeks ago and purchased these. I was mainly going to get things from Etude House because I know I was going to be rewarded for the points that I've collected so far. They let me choose between some facial cleansers (which all looked the same except that they contained different dominant fruit ingredients) and this babies :-

This is a sample of their pore-tightening line, comes with a mini cleanser and a serum. I couldn't read what it says, it's written in Korean languange and was all greek to me. But I am sure I could look it up somewhere ( maybe I'm lucky enough to find a Lee Min Ho ad? )

I bought extra things that I thought I might need for the dinners that I would go to. Already I have one more this coming weekend and one already attended. I bought the cherry lipstick because I know I wanted to do a pin up look that day previously, and I didn't want to go bold red. In fact, Elianto lipsticks have a reputation of tasting good on the lips, by that I mean you are tempted to lick 'em good! Like this one over here, it literally smells like cinamon even if you hold it far enough from your nose.

The eye primer from Etude House has, in my opinion, beats the one I got from Elianto a while ago (the small rounded pot with a mirror in it). In fact, the latter has already been converted to become a highlighter for my cheekbones. This one from Etude House is in liquid form, and dries out really quickly before applying the eyeshadows and the eyeshadows would stay on for hours in a day. Unlike the one from Elianto which was all sticky. So I say, Etude House eye primer is a hit so far.

The eyeshadows I bought- the matte one from Etude House was mainly for all over the eye lids, as it is not light enough to become a highlight for the brow bone, and it was not dark enough to pop in the outer corner of the eyes. So for an all over eyelid colour or a base would be fine. There was a phase which I have gone to with Elianto eyeshadows, there were times in the beginning (when it was sold for RM5 a pan) that it was really excellent despite the cheapo price. But right after that until now, it's quality have somehow decreased. I think the two shadows that I bought about are good enough to the point that it is gradually climbing up to its name. I should be proud. Thumbs up Elianto! (And oh, on a sidenote, I managed to get into the Elianto Redemption Programme, sort of like the Etude House Beauty Passport as well) Can't wait to score big!

I am in a phase where I am all about my eyebrows. Eventhough I don't go for threading or even plucked my eyebrows, I love to shape them or even them out with eyebrow pencil. I used my Silkygirl black eyebrow pencil and by far it is the best drugstore brand I have ever tried. The lady from Elianto suggested that I try a dark brown shade as according to her, it is more subtle. But once I've used it, I was really dissapointed as it doesn't give out colors much, all "subtleness" aside, and instead it left a noticeable brown streak against my black eyebrows. Not a good hit, would definitely used this eyebrow pencil for something else then.

The other two skincare items I purchased because my skin is in dire need of rejuvenation. Will definitely blog about it in the future when I have seen results :)

Bye all!
